Beyond our circle of family and friends, we are all part of a larger community. Our neighborhoods may house people we may be unfamiliar with and/or with whom we have dissimilar beliefs. Decision-making in the best interest of the community is always challenging. But coexist we must. Challenges likely to impact the community are best dealt with by connecting, communicating and problem-solving.
Resilient Communities was created for use with community members (both young and old) to stimulate conversation and practice responding to some of the 21st-century challenges we face. This deck is intended for use in groups where practice applying the Skills & Attitudes of resilience may lead to a stronger sense of community and a more resilient response to the challenges that lay ahead.
